Register for the 2011 FallBall Season Online Now!
 2011 Registration is now open for the Victoria Fastball Club’s popular Fall Ball League. Running through September, Fall Ball is a fun league where players are sorted into balanced teams and play two games per week. It’s an excellent way to maintain your fastball skills and have some fun while the weather and light are still with us. This year Fall Ball will run from September 6th through October 9th in three age categories: U11 (birthyears 2002, 2001, 2000), U13 (birthyears 1999, 1998, 1997) and U18 (1996 and up). Each group will play one weekday and one Sunday game per week. Games will be held at View Royal ( Helmcken Centennial Park). All skill levels are welcome and encouraged. FallBall Program - History FallBall is a joint venture between View Royal Fastball and the Victoria Devils. The goal of the FallBall program is to provide everyone involved with an opportunity to participate with players and coaches from all over Lower Vancouver Island in a competitive and skill testing level of fastball. We have a lot of fun, make new friends and enjoy our game!
The players are put in a pool and teams are balanced based on experience. There will be one weekend game and one weekday game starting the end of August and ending first week of October. There are usually no formal practices. Parents and kids should know that we do not allow whole teams to register. The intent is to mix the kids so that they make new friends and to put them into a different role on their new team. That said, we will group a couple of friends together if need be (for rides, etc. on a case by case basis). |
