Greetings from the Guidance Department!!!! 

We have a lot of exciting and fun activities and programs planned for our students at Sacred Heart Interparochial School.  Guidance is a school wide program at Sacred Heart and is available for all students. 

I will be in the classrooms on a regular basis doing activities with the students that promote social/emotional awareness and skills.  As always, these classes promote tolerance and acceptance of individual differences.

Small group counseling will be provided for students as needed.  Some of the topics are: responsibility, anger control, dealing with loss, building self-esteem and confidence and alot more.

Individual counseling will be provided to students who have a need or desire to express their concerns in private.  Teachers, as well as parents, may refer individual students for counseling.  Students are also made aware that they may self-refer for a guidance appointment.
