What is Goalball

Goalball is a sport designed for and played by blind and vision impaired people. It is a fast pace sport that relies on hearing.

What is the objective of goalball

The objective of goalball is simple to score goals against the other team while defending your own goal area. This is achieved by throwing a ball slightly larger than a basketball into the other teams half of the court where they will then attempt to block the ball with their body and then throwing the ball at the other team. The Ball

Typically blue the goalball is a heavy basketball sized hard ball. It has several holes to allow the sound of the bells inside to be heard by the players.

The Court

The goalball court has the same dimensions as a vollyball court however, the goalball court is divided in at different places.
