The run was a magnificent folly, and due to an accounting error 60% longer than it was meant to be. So, instead of being 8.9 KM it was actually 14.5 KM; which only goes to show that GOOGLE is only as perfect as its users...

A mere 23 hounds turned-up at the start, including Abysmal, Mountme, DMF's buddy Amanda, even Malice, Plungah, and Roast. The run set off East, down into the Lynn Canyon, across Twin Falls Bridge, up to Hoskins & Bushnell and down Hastings Creek Corridor Park, emerging below Arbour Lynn in Interriver Park for a hot-toddy. The efficacy of the hot-toddy check was somewhat negated by the 22+ celsius weather, brilliant sunshine and thoroughly tired hounds. Alas, this was only half way, the trail meandered through Capilano College, down to the Brige over the Weymour and thence N along Riverside Drive before jogging West, past Hogan's Pools, up onto the ridge above Riverside Drive to Hyannis, down the Baden-Powell Trail, across the pipeline bridge, and finally a long slog up the ravine side, and finally across Lillooet Road to the Beer Check. Oh well.

We enjoyed our beer check and Pigeon Stool, Mountme, Captain Hymen Grinder, Squid Lips and Analyser did the whole thing, whilst everyone else was satisfied with the 11 KM Turkey Trail; which included a long slog up Lillooet Road.

We quickly adjourned to Chez Low Blow and after a brief circle the business of AGPUing got under way.
