SEO made easy

This is a mindmap of Brad Callen's ebook of the same title.  I made a mindmap of it to force myself to learn SEO or Search Engine Optimization.  Ordinarily, the mere mention of the word SEO makes me want to puke!

The Mindmap 'SEO made easy' makes it well... easier (to review and remember)

Well, I was able to consume the 90-page ebook in one afternoon.  This mindmap was done in about 3 hours - which is practically re-reading the book again for the second time while structuring the mindmap.

Although unrelated to our topic, I included it here as a gift to visiting webmasters.  If you like the mindmap, please consider linking back to any of our sites (mentioned in the notes section of the mindmap's central topic; also mentioned below).

Web 2.0 Content Syndication Resources

Article Marketing was earlier mentioned.  There are Article Submitter softwares now and Article Spinners.  Hmm.  I don't really agree on spinners.  To my taste, I think that's black hat.  As to Article Submitters, my question is how does google treat this?

Aren't they duplicate contents?

Anyone knows?  Would appreciate your comment on this question.

To go a step further, article marketing is Web 1.0.  Self-service Content Syndication is Web 2.o.

What I do not know is if robots can crawl the widgets' backlinks to one's site and whether that counts as a backlink.

Anyone knows?

Here's a mindmap of resources for content syndication.

This mindmap is from Robin Good http://www.masternewmedia.org/online-content-distribution-guide-to-the-best-content-syndication-services/

But, before implementing all that, I think you should check out Ping-o-matic, too.  It alerts top sites that you have new content they can crawl.

I'm also shifting through the options.  Please come back and share your tips.
