New Vets Listening Sessions posted. South/Cudahy on Tuesday evenings, 7-9pm beginning July 8. Hosted at St. John Lutheran Church at 4850 S. Lake Drive, just South of Sheridan Park. Gaining interested listeners at Cudahy and Central City sites who desire training. Hoping our video will be accessible to help with some of this. Interested Vets planning to work on printed media and flyer wording and formats for distribution. Will share with group when available.
We have simplified our announcment flyer and changed some wording based on veterans' input. Feel free to adapt to your site. All site listings are included on the single sided flyer.
The Cudahy listening site is sponsoring a Community Education Event on Wednesday, November 12th, 2008, 7:00pm to 8:00pm, titled: The Veteran Returning to Civilian Life, "They're back, but it's not the same." Presenter: Chaplain, Lt. Col. Karl H. Krueger, retired Wisconsin Air National Guard. Program will be presented at St. John Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in the lower level of the church, 4850 S. Lake Drive. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome. Registration is not required.
