Room 24 has gotten off to a great start for an exciting year of growth and learning.  I am enjoying working with your child to help develop good study habits and mastery of 4th grade skills.  

     Since we are spending much time together this year, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about myself.  I grew up in Norfolk and received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from ODU.  In my spare time I like to do aerobics, yoga and read.  I am most proud of my two daughters and enjoy spending time with my one year old granddaughter.

     I feel parents are an important part in accomplishing our classroom goals.  To keep you informed, I have been sending home a weekly class newsletter on Fridays.  This will continue throughout the year.   If you have any questions, you can attach a note to the papers that come home with the newsletter or you can contact me using the email link on this page.  Your input and involvement are important and appreciated. 

Schedule for the 2007-2008 year:

*DARE: Wednesdays during PE time until mid November--     Graduation is set for November 28 at 8:30 am.  We hope  you can come to see us get our certificates.   :-)

P.E.:  9:20 - 10:05 daily

Lunch:  12:15 - 12:45 daily

Art:  8:15-8:55   Tues.

Music:  8:15-8:55  Thurs.
