Biography

Velibor Sikimić was born in Ljubinje where he finished elementary school and high school. He graduated from the Department of Mathematics and Informatics at Faculty of Science in Novi Sad, Serbia. His career began as a professor of Computer Science and Informatics at the "Isidora Sekulić" gymnasium in Novi Sad. He later gained extensive experience in information technology, audit, and cyber security across various companies in Serbia and Germany. Since 2014, he has been residing and working in Germany.  

He is the author of 4 books of poems: "Čudno jutro" (2007), "Nesanica" (2010), "Zvjezdarnik" (2012) and "Zašto nečije usne šapuću kiše? : izabrane i nove pjesme" (2021). The poems of Velibor Sikimić have been published in the magazines "Glasnik Ljubinja" of the Serbian educational and cultural society "Prosvjeta" and "Zlatna greda" of the Association of writers of Vojvodina.
