Panorama of Garibaldi Lake with the Sphinx Glacier in the(center) background. It is about a 3 hour snowshoe to the UBC Outdoor Club cabin(upper right) located at the terminal moraine of the glacier.
| UBC Outdoor Club cabin. Not much VHF activity here. Nice and cosy place . The abondoned Glaciology hut at Sentinel Glacier. It is now a safe haven for ski parties that are passing through. Plenty of VHF activity here directly into Squamish BC some 30km and to repeaters located in the Straight of Georgia about 100km or more.
