| OSCARCThe Ontario Science Centre Amateur Radio Club (OSCARC) provides volunteer support to the Amateur Radio demonstration station at the Ontario Science Centre. The club is made up of "Official Volunteers" and "Friends of VE3OSC". "Official Volunteers" are recognized by the Ontario Science Centre and are authorized to operate Amateur Radio station VE3OSC. "Friends of VE3OSC" are club members who do not volunteer at VE3OSC but wish to support the operation of the station and the general promotion of Amateur Radio. MeetingsOSCARC meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 19:30 hours local time. Meetings are held at the Ontario Science Centre in the meeting room beside security at the South C entrance. All licensed Amateur Radio Operators and any one interested in getting an Amateur radio licence or who are generally interested in radio are welcome to join us. Annual dues are $ 10.00 per year. NetsOSCARC is currently operating a weekly chat net on VE3CTV (145.370 tone 103.5) Tuesday evenings at 19:30. All licensed operators are welcome to check in. There is a different Net Controller every month. |
