VCOT81 website was born 10/09/08    Volkswagen Club of Tidewater (VCOT) is for anyone
interested in VWs in the Tidewater VA / Northeast NC area or Anywhere for that matter.
Air and Water VWs WELCOME ! Open to all VW enthusiasts - you don't even have to own a VW, you just have to be interested in VWs ! The Volkswagen Club Of Tidewater was formed in 1981 and has remained active in the community ever since. Car Show proceeds are donated annually to various Charity organizations such as Toys for Tots, Foodbank of Southeastern VA, Children’s Hospital of the King's Daughters and Miracle Network. The VW Club was a founding member of the Car Club Council of Hampton Roads.
The VW Club is a friendly family oriented group that enjoys the VOLKSWAGEN and its many forms. Functions and events are planned with the whole family in mind. The members will assist, when possible, with technical info as well as hands on help. Some members even buy, sell or trade new and used VW parts. The VW Club holds monthly meetings and tech sessions, as well as an annual Show & Shine Car Show. Other activities may include Fun Runs, picnics, and “no reason” social get togethers. Due to VCOT being a non-profit organization, VCOT does not pay for any activities or food unless otherwise noted. The club meets the first Tuesday of every month (except December) in a restaurant designated by VCOT. Check the Event Calendar for meeting locations and times, as they are subject to change.
