SUB VIREOCAT <your name>
(omitting the angle brackets when typing your name), to this address: listproc@ku.edu.

Searching the listserv

Since the list is young you can probably find relevant messages by means of simple keyword searches with this structure:
Address an email message to listproc@listproc.cc.ku.edu. Leaving the subject line empty, type the following in the first line of the body of your message:

search VIREOCAT <keyword>

in which the last element is your keyword of choice, with the angle brackets omitted.

EXAMPLE:
If you want to read messages containing the word “export” that have been sent to the Vireocat list, send a message to listproc@listproc.cc.ku.edu that has nothing in the subject line, and has the following in the first line of the body of the message:
search VIREOCAT export

Soon you will receive a message from ListProc containing the results of the search. Again, do not send list command messages to the discussion list itself. Send them to the administrative address.
