  • VAPA Talent Show Results
    Congratulations to all of the finalists who gave outstanding performances in the 2010 VAPA Talent Show. First place went to Sophia Barrios for her beautiful, self-choreographed dance routine. Jason Garcia nabbed second place with his amazing looking Robot Dance. Simon Lal wowed us with his third place Capoeira routine which included some incredible flips, kicks and hand stands. Great job, everyone!

  • VAPA's April Student of the Month


    Congratulations to Grace Brown for being selected as the VAPA Student of the Month for April 2012. Grace was recently the lead in the play, "Twelfth Night", has been noted to have a great personality, excels academically, and a wonderful leader.

  • VAPA Talent Show
    The annual Talent show is coming up fast! This year, the talent show will be held on Friday, April 27th during 3rd and 4th period.

    If you are planning on auditioning for the talent show, auditions are being held after school on April 16th, 17th and 18th. Sign ups for auditioning are in the Counselor's Office.

  • Fall Concert

    On Thursday, November 17, 2011, the Music Department will kick off the season with their Fall concert.  The JFK Choir and Jazz Band will perform some well known and not so well known tunes for your enjoyment.  Come join us in the JFK Auditorium and bring your friends.  The fun begins at 7 p.m. and will last for about an hour.

  • October Student of the Month
    Felix Apaza



    Congratulations to Felix Apaza for being chosen as VAPA’s October student of the month.  Felix is an excellent 9th grade student, as well as an all around nice guy!  He contributes to our long-standing support of music here at JFK by playing trumpet in the Marching Band.  All of his teachers feel that he is an excellent “Student of the Month” choice for Visual and Performing Arts.  Way to go, Felix!
