Pioneer Valley Recumbent Cyclists organize monthly rides for recumbent bikes, trikes, and other human powered vehicles.  We even welcome riders of upright bicycles.

We are a small group of non-competitive cyclists based in Northampton, Massachusetts, one of the premier cycling regions in the United States. 

 Over the last few years we've noted a growing number of recumbents in the Valley, yet with the exception of the annual New England Human Powered Vehicle Rally we are unaware of any organized 'bent activities. 

In the Spring of 2006 we decided to do something about this by planning a series of monthly rides for recumbent cyclists in our area.  2007 will be our second season riding as a group

Rides take place on Sundays at 10am and average 20 to 40 miles
