The Valley Farmers' Market is a program of the San Luis Valley Local Food Coalition, under the aegis of the Alamosa Community Greenhouse, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to fresh locally grown foods.  Savor the local culture and fresh fruits and veggies at our downtown farmers' market! Fresh local and regional produce
Baked goods and local crafts Live music Cooking demos samplings Cultural events  Colorado & New Mexico produce allowed at our Market. Local Organic Farmers Welcome! Fresh produce from local gardens and farms, including White Mountain Farms .  sweet peaches from Colorado's Western Slope... ...corn from Olathe, and melons from Rocky Ford are just a few highlights. Affordable organically grown SLV produce is a specialty. In August and September, let the scent of roasting green chiles lead you to the market. Sumptuous fruit pies and baked goods from our local Amish and Mennonite communities sell out fast. So get there early! Stay around till 10:00-12:00 for weekly events... Such as the Taiko from Crestone, CO.
