Happy Groundhog day. I was snowed in from work and class on the 1st so I had time to ink, scan, and color this fairy all in one day. So hurray, an update and new piece of art work.

January 19, 2011:

I am in the process of making most of my artwork digitally. The process takes more time for me than traditional painting.

Here are a few trial examples while I try to find my digital voice.

It is taking a lot longer to do new artwork because I am in my last semester of graphic arts. There are tons of contest and I am taking advantage and entering the majority of opportunities I have.

A big thank you for those who came to the Fairview Oklahoma show of the arts. I was not able to attend due to my part-time work schedule at my new job, but I now have turned in the dates I need off for my future art shows and will be painting in person at the Winfield Art in the Park show if my application is approved for the event.
