On May 8, 2008 the Mayor, the City Manager, the Airport Director and two members of the VABA/Citizens Group met with the FAA in Orlando to present the Compromise Airport Diagram. The letter below is the response received back from the FAA in a letter dated May 30, 2008 together with a follow up email by the Mayor.
