This is what the project looks like as of now. I've connected one TLC5940 to the 1281 stamp i made. I just have a row of LEDs connected to the 5940 for test purposes. I've seen them light up before i put any code anywhere so i'm pretty confident at least the power is connected properly, now I have to work out how to communicate to the chips.. I've found some awesome resources for the arduino! But unfortunately it doesn't look very easy to port to regular GCC.. Here is what my setup looks like at the moment.
