More info to come... January 7, 2012 UWOSS welcomes everyone to 2012! We have a lot of events planned for this semester so keep posted! The Corneal Cup Hockey Tournament 2012 was this past week. Students returned from Christmas break just in time to play some good ol' Canadian hockey and compete against the other years for the Corneal Cup and Sportsmanship award! Congratulations to the Jedeyes (4th years) who won the Corneal Cup in a 5-3 win over the Mighty Tear Ducts (2nd years) in the Final Game! The Fighting Iris (3rd years) took the Consolation Final game 6-2 over the Ray Bandits (1st years). The Ray Bandits won the Sportsmanship Award - with highest attendance at the games, a great Mascot, a wonderful cheering squad from the bleachers, and were always positive and gave their best effort on the ice! Thanks to everyone for playing or supporting the players in this tournament, it was definitely another one to remember!! October 22, 2011 UWOSS's Annual Halloween Party - EYESCREAM is October 29, 2011 @ 8pm! Doors close at 10pm. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door, but WILL be sold in the Cafe Tuesday through Thursday (Oct. 25-27th) at lunch hour. Tickets are $10. COSTUME PRIZES FOR THE BEST COSTUMES!! Hope you've got yours already on-the-go!  October 13, 2011 UWOSS would like to thank the 36% of members that voted in our October 4/5th referendum, we had 100% vote in favour of the new Constitution!!! So the 2011 UWOSS Constitution is officially official! Thanks to our CRO Josh Smith for running a great referendum :) October 2, 2011 September was a great start to this UWOSS year! We had a successful Slo-Pitch Tournament as well as a great Western Party at the Stampede Ranch in Guelph! Thanks to all those who came out to these events, we hope you all had fun!! Keep posted for the upcoming UWOSS events this semester, including the annual Halloween Party "EyeScream" on October 29, 2011 (YES IT IS ON A SATURDAY THIS YEAR!). Hope you're already planning your costumes!! Look forward to the 1st Annual Classic Rock Night, featuring your favourite Prof Band - the Lost Faculties, a benefit for the Alzheimer's Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Alzheimer's Research. See the poster for more details! The UWOSS Constitution has also been re-vamped and is now posted for review. September 11, 2011 Slo-Pitch Tournament is this upcoming weekend! Registration is this week, Tuesday through Thursday @ lunch in the CAF. Registration is $10 per player. No experience is required!! Look forward to a BBQ during the play-offs on Saturday, proceeds go to UWOSS! Come out and play or support the teams! Also, a WELCOME to the class of 2015, the Ray Ban-dits! Congratulations to you all, we look forward to seeing all you out at our UWOSS events this year!
