The University of West Georgia Pre-Law Society is a student led organization founded in 2008.  The objective of the UWG Pre-law Society is to help prepare students interested in going to law school to take the LSAT and to promote excellence in the legal profession.  The Society is committed to advancing strong ethics and community involvement for success in law school and in the legal profession.  The UWG Pre-law Society will encourage fellowship with students, university faculty, and local members within the legal profession.  The Society is open to all students regardless of major or interest in attending law school. The Society plans to meet several times each semester, sponsoring speaker and panel discussions throughout the semester and organizing occasional fieldtrips to law schools and other special events.  Dr. Thomas Hunter is the Faculty and Pre-Law Advisor.
