*HEADLINES Exhibit

Beginning in 2005, the UW Architecture PAC has presented HEADLINES each Spring: an exhibit on public view for 2 weeks at Gould Court before traveling for exhibit at other Cascadia educational and professional venues.  By HIGHLIGHTING UNBUILT ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS under development by Northwest design firms and organizations, HEADLINES offers the public, professionals, and campus communities a glimpse of work rarely seen outside the studio.  Previous HEADLINES exhibits have featured the work of more than 50 offices, and have appeared at Washington State University (Pullman, Spokane), University of Idaho, Montana State University, Portland State University, University of Oregon, University of British Columbia, and elsewhere.

ARCHITECTURE LOOKING AHEAD
The 7th annual HEADLINES EXHIBIT highlights NW practitioners' architectural projects currently in the design process.
HEADLINES explores the ideas behind design, and provides a forum for a public discourse between the region’s academic community and practitioners.  An overview of the design innovation and influence of Northwest design practice, HEADLINES offers an exciting preview of future projects for regional, national and global sites.
