- Get your carving tools out and carve yourself a nametag! At our February meeting we will be having a contest to see who has carved the best looking name badge. We will have a secret ballot vote and the winner will get a $15 gift certificate!

- The Salt Lake Carving Club is having their show March
27-28th 2009. It will
be held at Wheeler Historic Farm (6351 S. 900 E. SLC, Utah.
Take I-215 and exit at Union
Park Avenue, or Exit 9. The Farm entrance is located on the east side of
900 East). Please support the Salt
Lake Club’s show like they supported our show and enter a carving or
two…or three!

Hendrix has written an article that appeared in the last issue of Carving
Magazine. The article that appeared
was a condensed version, but she will have the full article and color
pictures available on CD soon.

need club members or friends of club members to give some informative
classes for our club this year.
Please email Susan Hendrix at shendrix@byu.net
if you would like to teach for us or with suggestions of possible teachers
and/or classes you are interested in.
These classes can be short and only cover a section of one aspect
or carving or related items. WE
NEED HELP FROM OUR FELLOW CLUBMEMBERS!!!
