Goldendale 2011 is August 6th and 7th in Goldendale, WA! (Saturday + Sunday)

The USRCCA has 10 National Qualifiers per year scattered throughout the country. The winner of each class will receive an invite to the USRCCA Nationals in September. Goldendale is the only Northwest Qualifier, it's the last event before Nationals,  and should bring out the best drivers from the west and beyond!

The event will be limited to 100 2.2 drivers, 40 Super drivers and 40 1.9 drivers. The 2.2 Class includes MOA Pro, Shafty Pro and Sportsman.

Entry is $50 for your first class, $25 for each additional class.

Schedule:

Friday night: Early Tech @ Superdave's Trailer until late.

Saturday Morning: Tech from 6:00am to 7am. Driver's meeting @ 7:30ish
Competition to begin at 7:45am.

All the 2.2 Classes (MOA Pro, Shafty Pro, Sportsman) will run 8 courses, 4 in the morning and 4 after lunch. These will be 10 gate courses with 10 optional bonus gates between each gate. The 10 regular gates will be easy to moderate difficulty, while the 10 bonus gates will be moderate to difficult. There are no finals courses! 2.2 awards and the raffle will be held Saturday night, and we are currently planning some fun scale activities too.

Sunday:

Super and 1.9" Classes will run 5 courses each on Sunday, maybe more depending on turnout and available judges. Awards for those classes will follow Sunday late afternoon.

Judging:

We will keep the same judges on course all day for consistency. Will will be running 1 Judge per driver, with 2 drivers on each course at the same time, leaving at 'half way point' intervals. This greatly speeds up the competition time, increases driving time, and reduces waiting time! Judges will receive free food and drink Saturday and Sunday, as well as dinner Saturday. We greatly appreciate our volunteer judges!

Below is a map of the Comp site. Things you need to know:

- Most of the camping and parking will be in the large front field. It's a short walk to the comp site, but you must walk down a dirt hill into a gully and up the other side. ATV's, side-by-sides and 4x4's can be used for transport to the comp site, but be careful as the terrain is rough.

- The main entrance to the camping field is the driveway that leads to the owners house. You can see the "Broken Boulder Farm" Sign in front. Large vehicles, trailers- anything tall MUST enter here. Turn right onto the field right after the entrance.

- There are 2 additional field entrances off Pipeline rd, but there are extremely low power lines over both of them. Cars and regular sized vehicles can enter here.

- The main comp site entrance is off of Orchard Heights road. Most vehicles, other than trailers, can enter here, but we may have parking issues as there is limited room. 4x4's should be able to drive over the rougher terrain to park.
