Your task is to use Google Sites to either:
- create a website for an organization, on-campus or off-campus, which could use a better web presence.
- create an informational website on some political or social topic.
You may work in teams of 2 or 3. Each team member's course portfolio page should point to the site.
Technical Requirements
Your site should have the following:
- At least five pages.
- A custom header and color scheme.
- A sidebar linking to the key pages in the site.
- At least one embedded YouTube Video, RSS feed, and calendar.
- Each team member should be responsible for at least one page on the site.
- A 'Contributions' page with pics and bios of each team member and a description of who contributed what.
Ideas Organizational sites might include:
- A site for your department/club here at USF.
- A site for a non-profit in which you're interested.
An informational site might be:
- A site providing information about Obama's cabinet including news items about each.
- A site for one of your classes (you could invite students in the course to collaborate)
- A site about dadaism or the Isreali/Palestine conflict.
The key is to choose something you're interested in and that can help someone.
