About

Measurement Summit Update 2008 is a follow-on session to Measurement Summit 2007 which was held last December in San Antonio, TX. While this is a follow-on, attendees at this update certainly don't have to attended the San Antonio sessions. This session is open to all interested Coasties.

You can find information about the San Antonio sessions here; you'll find links to the presentations' ppt as well as video of the actual presentations. It's like being there, only you miss the side conversations and have to put up with Peter's camera work.

Agenda

Findings from San Antonio

Dr. Yacus will review the report and findings from Measurement Summit 2007. Attendees are encouraged to print out the final report and bring it to the Summit Update 2008.

Movement in the Last Year

This roundtable session will allow each participant to share successes and challenges with regard to measurement. This will be a roundtable session, allowing each participant to talk about their status. Participants are requested to keep their presentations to 5 minutes or less.

Way Ahead

Dr. Yacus will lead a session to detrmine the way ahead. We'll look at the lessons learned and quick hitters identified in the report of Summit 2007. We'll also identify other initiatives to pursue. Ideally, we will determine a reasonable number of initiatives to tackle over the next year or two.

Brief on the upcoming Knowledge Management Summit 2009

With the success of the Measurement Summit 2007, we'll be hosting a summit focused on knowledge management. Dr. Yacus and Mr. Stinson will provide a brief overview of the KM Summit planned for February 2009 in Houston. Additional information about the KM Summit can be found here.
