SB48: FAIR Education Act Moving Forward in TCC 350/351. Recently signed by California Governor Jerry Brown, the Fair, Accurate, Inclusive and Respectful (FAIR) Education Act amends the Education Code to include social sciences instruction on the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and the bill also prohibits discriminatory instruction and discriminatory materials from being adopted by the State Board of Education. Hear from a panel of experts from the Los Angeles Unified School District about the future implementation of this bill. Co-Sponsored by the USC LGBTQ Resource Center and EQuAL.

Details: MOP is a free one-day conference that focuses on the concerns and interests of LGBTQ youth, ages 12 to 24 and their allies.
