The Idaho’s Best Wrestling Camp: (WESTERN REGIONALS AND JUNIOR DUALS TRAINING CAMP 2009)
The Idaho’s Best wrestling camp is in its 9th year of existence and continues to provide wrestlers the opportunity to seek out quality technique and training opportunities for upcoming events. This camp is designed to expose wrestlers to excellent workout partners, high level technique, and prepares them for situations that they will encounter in future competitions. This is an excellent camp for all wrestlers who fall between the age groups of midget through junior. The Idaho’s Best Camp addresses the needs of those athletes who will be competing in Western Regionals, Cadet Duals, and Junior Duals, but is open to anyone who wants to attend (and falls within the age range). The Idaho’s Best Camp boasts an excellent resume with the past attendance of multiple all-Americans and national champions. Come be a part of the Team Idaho
Cost: $75 for pre-registration $85 at the door $50 for additional siblings

Boise State Wrestling Individual Technique Camp
June 29th through July 3rd (Entering Grades 3-8)
Camp Format:
This camp is for high school aged students between the ages of 9 and
15 years and is structured to focus on the basic skills of wrestling
such as stance, motion, level-change, penetration step, basic defenses,
and playing games that incorporate wrestling specific motions.
Daily Schedule (Residents):
7-8 am- Breakfast; 9-10:30 am Technique; 10:30-11:30 Games; Noon-1pm –
Lunch; 2-3:30 pm Technique; 3:30-4:30 pm Games; 5-6 pm – Dinner;
6:30-7:30 pm – Technique; 7:30-9 pm – Games or Duals; 10:30 pm – In
Rooms; 11 pm Lights Out;
Daily Schedule (Commuters):
9-10:30 am Technique; 10:30-11:30 Games; Noon-1pm – Lunch; 2-3:30 pm
Technique; 3:30-4:30 pm Games; 4:30-5pm –
Shower/Change into clean
clothes; Commuters must be picked up by 5:30 pm and are released for the
day.
Cost:
1) Camp Pricing:
a. Resident Pricing: $260. Cost of camp includes instruction, your
stay in the dorm and all meals, you will also receive a camp t-shirt.
b. Commuter Pricing: $120. Cost of camp includes all instruction and
a camp t-shirt.
c. Discount: 25% off for BSU employee’s kids.
Registration:
Please register online at www.broncosports.com beginning February 9th.
We strongly encourage you to pre-register your team by May 15th.
Medical/Age Information:
Campers must be entering (going into) grade levels between 3 and 8 in
the fall of 2009. Campers must have medical insurance documentation to
attend camp. Certified athletic trainers are in attendance and
available throughout camp.
*you must have complete medical information on file before you are
allowed to participate.
*campers must submit a copy of the medical insurance card BEFORE CAMP
BEGINS to participate.
Accommodations:
Overnight campers will stay in the Boise State University dorms.
Each dorm is designed to house 2 people. A standard bed pack is
provided: pillow, pillowcase, blanket, towel, wash cloth and 2 sheets.
All resident campers will have a roommate. There will be camp
counselors in the dorms droning the evenings. Meals will be prov
ided
beginning with dinner on the first day of camp and ending with lunch on
the last day of camp. Meals will be served at Table Rock Café in the
Student Union Building. Camp will start each morning at 9 am. Commuter
campers will NOT receive any meals, but can purchase meals at Table Rock
Café (usually between $7 and $10 per meal). Commuter campers can be
picked up from 4:30 to 5:30 pm each evening. Camp will finish on
Friday, July 3rd at 4pm promptly. Supervision will be provided until
5:30 pm on the last day.
Staff:
The Boise State University Men’s Wrestling Staff is involved in
coaching all campers. Many outstanding collegiate wrestlers are here to
assist, including current and former Boise State Broncos.
Check-In:
All campers will check-in at the Chaffee Hall dormitory from 9am to
Noon on Monday, June 29th. Chaffee is directly across the parking lot
from the wrestling practice facility (Caven-Williams Sports Complex).

match wrestling such as strategies, tactics, match management, clock
management, and effective techniques. Campers will be divided into
competitive dual match teams. HS Teams may choose to bring only their
wrestlers, or they may combine with other schools to make one team.
Individual wrestlers looking to participate can sign up independently
and will be assigned a team at the first practice based on the initial
weigh-ins.
Daily Schedule (Residents):
7-8 am- Breakfast; 9-10 am Technique; 10-11:30 1-2 Duals; Noon-1pm –
Lunch; 2-4 pm 1-2 Duals; 4-5 pm – Games; 5-6 pm – Dinner; 6:30-7:30 pm –

On Wednesday and Thursday, February 25th and 26th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM (Mountain Standard Time) USA Wrestling is offering an Online Bronze Clinic. The clinic will be presented by Sam Barber, the Manager of the National Coaches Education Program for USA Wrestling, Tony Black Manager of Grassroots Development at USA Wrestling and 2X NCAA National Champion Tim Hartung. You must participate in both sessions to receive credit for the course!
To coach in the corner at USA Wrestling regional and national events you are required to be a Bronze Level Certified Coach. We will have in-depth discussions on risk management, program development, philosophy of coaching and much more.
After registering for the Clinic, participants will be automatically redirected to the payment page (Visa or Master Card Only). The cost of this clinic is $75.00 (non-refundable). Once payment is received, a receipt will be e-mailed verifying enrollment, and then I will email you the participant packet and test. A subsequent e-mail will be received from gotowebinar.com with your login and password.
To participate in the Bronze Clinic you will need to meet the system requirements and have a USB headset with a microphone ($20) or call in via phone. Every participant will be required to use a microphone or phone so they can participate in the discussion. If you are not participating or you become inattentive I will remove you from the clinic and you will be unable to receive you Bronze Certification and you will forfeit your $75 fee.
Upon completion of the course you will receive "The Coaches Guide to Excellence” Once you have received your book please use the book to complete your 125 question test and submit your test to USA Wrestling. Upon receiving your test, I will mail you your Bronze Card, Certification, and your choice of a cap or polo shirt.
