Kevin Davis


Organ Instructor

Kevin Davis currently serves as Instructor of Organ and teaches Introduction to Music at the University of South Alabama. In addition to his duties at USA, he is also Principal Parish Musician (organist and choir master) at Trinity Episcopal Church in Mobile and is Music Director of Bella Voce, the premier women's chorus of Mobile.
 
Davis holds a Master of Music degree in Organ Performance and Church Music (Choral Conducting) from Westminster Choir College where he studied organ with Joan Lippincott and choral conducting with Constantina Tsolainou, Allan Crowell, and Frauke Haasemann. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Organ Performance at Louisiana Tech University, where he studied organ with Ray Bradbury.
 
Kevin Davis has directed St. Paul's Choral Society, St. Paul's Schola Cantorum, Rutland Area Chorus (VT) and Voices of Vermont, in addition to church choirs and handbell choirs. He has also been the guest conductor of regional honors choirs in Vermont and New York. As an organ recitalist, he has performed in Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maine and Rhode Island; and he has been featured as flutist with the Westminster Handbell Choir on the Gothic Label.
 
Davis is an active member of the American Guild of Organists, Association of Anglican Musicians, American Choral Directors Association, American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, Royal School of Church Music.
