A large performing ensemble of woodwind, brass and percussion instrumentalists, the USA Symphony Band emphasizes wind band literature and live performance. The ensemble, which meets in Spring semester, is open by audition to both music majors and non-music majors.  All members of the ensemble must win an audition each semester in order to join the band.  The USA Symphony Band is conducted by Dr. Ward Miller, Associate Director of Bands.  Members of the Symphony Band register for "Wind Ensemble" (MUO 117/417), a 1-credit-hour course.
