Some of the games played in the eastern part of Samar island by 20th century are recorded on the list below.
some of these games maybe played even before 1900's but only become popular during the century. Some are still played today but most are keeped only on the back of the person 's minds. some games are maybe in modern names.
- Ampo'/Away Baraw - spider fight.
- Agaway Salag - grabing playmeate's nest.
- Bakyaay - popularly known as tumba lata. bakyaay becuase the older times uses bakya'(wooden sandals) as instrument for hitting the target(can for the modern times).
- Dagit-dagitay - played with banug, ugang ug siwu' (hawk, hen and its chick).
- Dara Damu' - with versions of using shells, or in "lumpya".
- Doktor wak-wak - played indoor or outdoor by atleast 5 players and one doctor wakwak(witch doctor).
- Ikis-i - is similar with piko or hopscotch, but in different version.
- Istapbol/stop all - the it (kasoy) must caught the other players moving after he shouted "stop all!".
- Hapon-haponay - a kind of hide and seek which started by throwing something like empty can.
- Hanrid-hanriday - the new term for a kind of sudsuray or ikis-i(hopscotch).
- Likot-likotay/iyt-iytay - a kind of dakop-dakupay(tag) which the it (kasoy) is not allowed to step off the line shaped like no.8 or like an infinity symbol.
- Ligas - (rubber band) have several games. latikay, dampaay, sikwitay, huyupay, to name some.
- Luksuhay dangaw - popularly known as luksong tinik(in tagalog term).
- Luto'-lutuay - play cooking with fire woods bamboo as containers or clay pots.
- Musilpusil - toy gun. have several kind--some made of the palm of coconut, but wood was popular particularly the one with bottle crowns as bullets, some used bamboo or wooden sticks as bullets, etc.
- Musilpusilay - war games. many versions, depending on the kind of toygun they used.
- Mitsay-mitsay - singing while passing a bulalo shell (just a size of a kid's fist).
- Nakita ka - do you see what i see?
- Ngulikulikong - it is a simple game accompanied with the song "ngolikulikong kay natitilik bong!".
- Palmuhay - tosses coin on a wall.
- Pirupintsingay - sword fight or fencing fight. uses wooden sticks or branch, some made of bamboo.
- Siyomoy - a game with rounded stones or marbles toosed into five holes on the ground.
- Santik/lastiko - also called as sling shot.
- Sudsuray - similar with ikis-i, but the tarap(pato') is not lifted.
- Tatsi' - the tatching. objects used in the game varies from bottle caps, cards, rubber bands, etc.
- T / H - a guessing game usually played during fullmoon evenings.
- Tats da kulur/touch the color - players touch the colors mentioned by the "kasoy".
- Tiguay kumkum - guessing which hand have the object (shell as often).
- Tsaynis (chinese) - known as chinese garter.
- Tunggabay - a kind of hide and seek.
- Usung-usungay - fight with players riding on the shoulders of their partners.
