Summer Volunteers Needed!

Most of the members of Green Scheme's organizing committee will not be in Kingston this summer, nor will many of our current student volunteers.

Green Scheme is therefore seeking volunteers to help plan and attend events for the months of May through the end of August!

If you'd like to participate on the organizing committee, please email us at greenscheme@live.ca with a resume and statement of interest!

If you'd like to attend events, please send us an email at the same address and we'll add you to our summer volunteer list!

Looking forward to meeting you!

Waste Awareness Week!

Waste Awareness Week officially kicked off today and will run until this Friday February 1st!
Be sure to drop by our display set up inside the Stauffer Library atrium and learn about the potential to reduce waste caused through recycling spoilage.

We also had our weekly meeting this evening at the Queen's Community Outreach Centre @ 11 Aberdeen. An important note being that we have decided to commit to the Johnson St. tree planting project in partnership with SWTRA (Sydenham Ward Tenants & Ratepayers Association) and the City of Kingston for this summer. Keep your eye's peeled for a greener Johnston street for the summer of '08!

As always, to receive a copy of this weeks meeting minutes please e-mail us at: greenscheme@live.ca
