Congratulations to all the students of the Tiger Marching Band on a very successful season! I am very proud of the TMB for their performances, positive attitude, and the family like atmosphere they maintained for the past 5 months. Even though it was June at time, it seems like it was just yesterday that we were distributing music and warm-ups for the first time. I am most proud of the TMB because of their commitment to continually improve themselves regardless of the obstacles they faced from bad weather, poor field conditions, or any number of other challenges. No matter how many times I work with a marching band, it's always amazing to me to look back and see how we took 54 individuals with all different levels of experience, to create incredibly high quality visual and musical productions.
Special thanks to all the volunteers and staff that helped the TMB throughout the season. The kids couldn't have achieved their success without your support!
I'm excited to start the planning stages for TMB 2010. Feel free to share your thoughts or ideas as we build upon our success from this year and plan for next year.
Thanks again!

Regardless of the weather... the TMB will perform tonight (10/27)! Dinner will still start at 5:30pm and the show will begin at 7pm. Plans have been made to have the big gym available for an indoor performance if the rain doesn't stop.

This Saturday (10/24/09) marks the TMB's final competition performance(s). The competition is at Illinois State University and is an excellent venue for a high caliber marching band competition. Since this contest is so close to home, the TMB could really use some Tiger Spirit in the stands of ISU from the friends and family of the TMB. Come out and support the TMB as they strive for excellence at the Illinois State Marching Band Championship! The TMB schedule is attached.
