Ladies of the Club,

      I hope you’re having a wonderful, enjoyable summer and just the right amount of company to keep life interesting, but not having to cook and clean too much.  Colorado is always such a magnet for friends and family in the summer.

     The upcoming picnic will be a good way to start celebrating the 4th and everyone there will have a great time.  Thank you Pat O’Dell and Mary Taylor in advance for planning and executing on behalf of the rest of us!

As I think about the past year, which has just flown by, I’m so grateful for all of you.  You are what make the Club go ‘round.  I guess I’ve never been in or led a group of people who are so cooperative and where everyone is willing to step up to do whatever task they’ve been asked to do.  Thank you for having that kind of spirit.  It made my life very easy.  My last request is that you extend your generosity to our next president too.

     Last but not least, I thank the Active Board members for their wisdom and guidance and the Activity Chairs for all of our activities.  Everyone is grateful for the time you give and the creativity you share with us so selflessly.  What talents we have!
