Marge Regan & Jane Fitzgibbons have dedicated themselves unfailingly to the mission of the Ulster Project for years. Both women have been involved in the project through their children, continuing to serve on various committees as well. Volunteer of the Year Award 2010 to Patrick Meloy!

Patrick Meloy has exhibited an undying commitment to the success of the Ulster Project since his time as a teen in the mid-1990's.  For his dedication as a member of various committees, the discovery team (the youngest ever) and eventually the board, the Ulster Project has awarded him the Volunteer of the Year Award for 2010.

Peace and Justice Award 2009 to Patrick Russell and Hannah Brown!

Hannah Brown ('02) and Patrick Russell ('04) both have displayed the commitment to correcting injustices globally and locally as they win the 2009 Peace and Justice Award.  

Working around the world, Hannah has traveled to Haiti and Nairobi for lengthy service programs, all while working toward her college degree in International Community leadership.  No less impressive, Patrick has worked in South Dakota, with the Cheyenne River Youth Project, tutored disadvantaged students in Cleveland, OH, where he attends college, and even returned to the Ulster Project as a counselor.

Please join us in thanking Lee Horlitz and Mike McCormack - 2009 Volunteers of the Year!

This year we honor two people with the Volunteer of the Year Award.  Lee and Mike have been with Milwaukee Ulster Project for 25 years.  They have hosted teens in their homes, provided guidance on the Board of Directors, and faithfully tracked "the books" through the years.  Read more about how Lee and Mike are the 2009 Volunteers of the Year right here!


30th Anniversary in 2009!

Ulster Project Milwaukee celebrated our 30th Anniversary during the 2009 project!  We celebrated with a visit from Belfast Coordinator Fr. John Forsythe, a proclamation by Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and a renewed vision for the next 30 years!  More information and pictures can be found right here!
