We defi nitely took advantage of our leap year's additional day and hosted The Solo Circus-Michael DuBois on February 29th at 7 pm in the Grotto.
But rather than getting a juggler OR a magician OR a comedian OR a circus artist, Underdog Productions got it all in one: THE SOLO CIRCUS.
Enjoy a fast paced, audience interactive variety show featuring an all-original presentation of Juggling, Magic, Circus and Dangerous Sideshow Students all wrapped in a blanket of Comedy, and served with a dee-licious dinner!
Michael DuBois has performed at over 300 colleges and has been seen on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and now you can see him for free in our student union!

Comedian Pete Holmes
- Pete is considered "Underdog Productions' Favorite Comedian" Pete has
visited UNC Asheville so many times we have all lost count. You may
have seen Pete on VH1's Best Week Ever, or Jimmy Fallon. He has been
featured on Tosh.0 and Conan. Currently Pete writes for NBC's Outsourced
among many of his other projects. Oh, he also voices a very famous
baby... Here is Pete's website: http://www.peteholmes.com/
Main Event - Comedians Randy & Jason Sklar
- Tag team comedians Randy and Jason Sklar are considered two of the
best in the nation. They are some of the hardest working comedians in
the business and that can be seen via their works. Many know them from
their work on Cheap Seats, but they have done much more. They have been
on Conan, Comedy Central Presents, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,
Grey's Anatomy, Entourage, and the list goes on and on... Check them out at http://www.supersklars.com/

Movie - Despicable Me
- Despicable Me features Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will
Arnett, Kristen Wiig, Danny McBride, Mindy Kaling, Ken Jeong, Jemaine
Clement and pretty much anyone else you know who is funny. Drawing
heavily (and intelligently) from Pixar and Looney Tunes, Universal
produces a hit. In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white
picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead
lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden beneath this home is a vast
secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of adorable minions, we
discover Gru, planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He
is going to steal the moon! That is until the day he encounters the
immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see
something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad.The world's
greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls
named Margo, Edith and Agnes |
