Annapurna Parivar Vikas Samvardhan (APVS)

Working in Pune since 1993, with its aim to empower women, it became part of the team in 2001. It works in over 80 slums across Pune, sheltering various programmes.

Parvati Swayamrojgar (PSW) is a non-profit company registered under Section 25 of the Indian Company’s Act 1956. It was created in November 2000 with the intention of overcoming all forms of legalities faced in the field of micro-finance. It became part of the Network in 2003. It works in six areas of Pune city (Janatavasahat, Lohiyanagar, Dandekar Bridge, Kashewadi, IndiraNagar, Ramtekdi). Vikas Yuva Sanstha is a sister concern of Parvati Swayamrojgar, it joined the Network in 2001. Like Parvati it works in the six areas of Pune.

Navnirman Samaj Vikas Kendra (NSVK)

A community based organization created in 1996. It works in the Malwani slums - Malad in the north of Mumbai, striving to provide guidance for effective local – self-governance skills among its partners. NSVK has been part of the team since 2001

 SHEPHERD

SHEPHERD (Self Help Promotion for Health and Rural Development) was established in 1995 as a society to promote pioneering initiatives on livelihoods promotion, poverty reduction and women  empowerment. It believes in direct grass root action   through carefully crafted development programmes   on various themes so as to bring everlasting impact   in the lives of rural communities. It’s based in the non coastal areas of Tamil Nadu. It joined Uplift in 2008.

Annapurna Mahila Mandal Co-operative Credit Society (AMMCCS)

Started in 1986, in Mumbai as part of a rehabilitation programme of destitute women; it aims at social, economic and intellectual upliftment of women enabling them to be responsible and democratically conscious citizens. It became part of the team in the year 2004.

SSP is working on the issues of community health, micro credit-savings and micro enterprises, Panchayati Raj system, Water and Sanitation, Health, Education, Disaster Management and Linkages with Government Schemes in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu . SSP has been the part of the team since 2005; they are associated with us for health mutual fund in, Osmanabad & Solapur districts of Maharashtra. 

Formed in November 2000 in Pune; this organization houses all the technical service specialists to the UpLift Members and Associates. It provides support in the areas of Accounts & Audit, Human Resource & Administration, Fundraising, Governance, Standardization of Procedure & Training, Information Technology (IT) for the three services.

Inter aide is a French Non Governmental Organization, started in the year 1980. Working with the motto ‘ Setup and Follow-up of concrete and pragmatic developmental programmes’, Inter aide is managing 50 programs in 7 countries: (India, Philippines, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Madagascar) in the areas of Micro-Finance, Vocational Training, Access to company employment, Education (crèches, pre-primary and primary schools, classes for dropouts, teachers training), Family Follow up and Health (Access to Medical Services, Tuberculosis, Health Mutual Funds) Hydraulic and Agricultural engineering.
