Welcome to the official website of the UPenn Salsa Club!
Based at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, the UPenn Salsa Club was established to promote Latin dancing (mainly salsa with some merengue, cha cha, and bachata) in the Penn community and the Greater Philadelphia area.
We organize Latin dances at or near the Penn campus and offer a lesson at the beginning of each dance. These events are open to the general public. No Penn ID is required for admission. No partner or experience is necessary. All ages are admitted.
We plan to hold these Latin dances at least once a month during the semester. However, depending on availability of space, demand from our members, weather conditions, and other factors, we may cancel or change some of these dates. Therefore, we recommend that you join our mailing list to receive the latest information on our dance events.
