What is NSSLHA?

"The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is a pre-professional membership association for students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders.

National membership is available to undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students enrolled full- or part-time in a communication sciences program or related major."

Volunteer Opportunity
Event: Stroke Camp 2011
Sponsor: Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital
Dates: September 22 - 24
Times: 7am - 9pm (Thursday and Friday); 7am - 5pm (Saturday)

This upcoming volunteer opportunity will allow students to interact with patients 5, 10, 20+ years post-stroke (however, no contact hours will be available and no one will be doing therapy).  Students may attend any day and volunteer for as long as they wish.  Prep track students, first years, and second years are all welcome to participate.  Contact Mary Beth Russell for more information.

Class Officer Informational Meeting
Attention First Years: Class of 2012 officers will be holding an informational meeting on Friday, September 9 in the library at Myer's Hall from 12:00 - 1:00pm.  If you are interested in a class officer position and have questions or would like more information, please join us!
