What is ASA?


ASA is a group for students who are interested or already majoring in Accounting at the Eller College of Management


Experience:  Member meeting are held every other week where speakers are brought in from many different firms and accounting fields.  The topics vary, but every meeting is an opportunity to learn more about the accounting profession.  



Philanthropy:   ASA also gives back to the community by serving and helping with charities in our city.  In addition, ASA donates $5,000 every year back to the accounting department which has helped to update the class room technology in the accounting lab.  ASA strives to leave the community and the college better than we found it.



Networking:  ASA gives members a chance to network with accounting professionals as well as with other accounting students at various events and socials that include bowling, comedy clubs, picnics, and many more fun activities.  By interacting with recruiters and professionals in a casual environment, members are able to learn make contacts and friends which may last a career.
