Dues are $40 for both semester, which is well worth it for all the free food you’ll be getting! The reason it is more expensive for the Spring semester is because of our Annual ASA Banquet. See our Treasurer or Vice President to pay your dues. In addition to dues, if any member would like to be listed in the ASA resume book, a book that is given to each recruiter who attends "Meet the Firms" and many other recruiting events on campus, additional requirements must be fulfilled.
Requirements to get into ASA Resume BookASA publishes a resume book which is given to accounting recruiters at career fairs, especially for "Meet the Firms", which is held near the beginning of every semester. In order to get into the resume book, you must have met the following: - Participation in 3 ASA activities, not including the annual banquet, VITA counts as 2
- 5 out of 6 meeting attendance
- Attended annual banquet (in the Spring)
- Paid dues
Please note: only one ASA social will count towards the three required ASA activities. |
