UNT SWE is proud to announce that they have acquired funds to send 9 members to the SWE national conference, WE08 in Baltimore, MD November 6-8.
WE08 is the largest and most comprehensive career advancement and professional development event for women engineers. More than 5,000 engineering professionals, collegians, educators, and corporate and government recruiters will be attending this year's conference.
Conference Highlights:
• Career Fair with more than 200 exhibitors: leading corporations, universities and government agencies looking for intern, entry-level and experienced employees
• Keynote Address by Captain Paz B. Gomez, PE, Captain, Civil Engineer Corps, United States Navy
• Workshops, panel discussions and sessions in five tracks
• Executive plenary sessions
• Technical and Baltimore area tours
• Collegiate competitions
