 Unruly Mujeres by Megan McClain The Curtain Theater Spanish and Latin American nuns of the 17th century found creative freedom in their cells and solidarity in their solitude. Unruly Mujeres weaves together a variety of texts created by four women from different convents to create a rich portrait of the imagination that thrived in their works despite the gender and religious hierarchies of the age.
