Women's Center Scholarships

Applications for the following 2009-2010 scholarship opportunities available at the Women's Center, Earl K. Library, room 201, and on the Women’s Center Web site athttp://wmcn.uno.edu/scholarships.cfm. The criteria for each are explained on the Web site and in the application forms.

The following scholarships are available to female students:

• The Virginia Rosanne Amato Memorial Scholarship
• The French Quarter Business Women's Network
• Workship Scholarship, The Zonta Club, New Orleans Chapter
• The Jacquelene (Jackie) Seal Book Award
• The Shades of Black Book Award

The following scholarship is available to male and female students:

• The Diversity Affairs Book Award

Students who want to apply should download the applications now, and start collecting their documentation, including letters of recommendation. The applications are due on Friday, June 5 by 4:30 p.m. in the College of Liberal Arts Office, Milneburg Hall, Room 273.
