Join us on facebook: University of Newcastle Women's Football Club Important information : PLEASE let your friends know about this in case they missed the email and don't look at the website _____________________________________________________________________ Introduction to the ClubWe cater for all standards: girls who have played competitively for years and those who have never touched a soccer ball in their lives. Most of our players are University students but we have a fair number of non-students. On average we field five teams ranging from absolute beginners to the top grades. So if you've never played before come along to training and you'll find that you won't be the only one, for sure! If you've got questions check out our FAQs page.

Registration Dates and Fees2012 Rego will be online for both our club and the FFA. Registration Fees for 2012 were $240 for students, $300 for graduates, and $330 for external community members. Registration now open, click the link below. **See the Registration & Fees section for fees and details** SeasonThe season generally begins in April and carries on until September for those lucky enough to get into the finals. Games are played on Sundays, generally in the mornings but the times vary from week to week. Depending on your draw there may be some travelling involved some weeks and we encourage teams to do a bit of carpooling so don't stress if you think transport might be a problem for you. 2012 season begins April 22nd and finished up in September.
Team SelectionWe try to be flexible about team selections because we want you to be comfortable where you are. If you come along with friends we can organise for you to be placed in the same team with them but as you may imagine that if you have a friend who has played in B Grade and you've never played before the B Grade player would have to agree to play in the lower grade team, it wouldn't be fair to do it the other way around. There is a section in our player registration where you may nominate others you would like to play with. EventsWe have events like meet the players and trivia nights throughout the season because it's nice to socialise with your team and club mates. We are also looking into going on a wineries tour this year for more fun and socialising. It all culminates in the Presentation Ball at the end of the season, with a change to dress up and celebrate the achievements of your team and club.
Wet Weather EnquiriesIf you're thinking of coming to training but the weather has been dodgy, don't stress about it, you can at least check if the field is open by checking the Forum Site and looking to see if our training oval is open. If it is closed then nobody is training. If you have any more specific questions feel free to email us onnusoccer@hotmail.com or come along and have a chat to us at training.
