It is an exciting time to be affiliated with Bowling Green State University with construction of new dormitories, dining facilities, the Stroh Center, the Wolfe Center for the Arts, and the welcoming of President Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey. We will recognize Dr. Mazey with an honorary membership at our fall brunch which will be held at the Simpson Gardens Banquet Center,Saturday, August 27, at 11:00 a.m. All members are invited to attend and to bring a dish that serves at least eight persons. We will introduce our board members, chairwomen of our interest groups and will be voting on our bylaws revision. Entertainment for the brunch will be show tunes presented by Kevin McGill, music director at St. Marks Lutheran Church andits Chamber Choir. Please feel free to bring with you any guests who are interested in learning about University Women.

The Executive Board has been busy planning events for the upcoming year. Barbara and Roger Sanchez have again graciously offered to host the annual holiday party, and have chosen Friday, December 16th as the date. Plan to join us in February for an International Adventure. More information about the event and date will be coming. The Black Swamp Players program was so well received that another date will be chosen as their event list is finalized. Other events are in the planning process and will be announced as the year progresses.
