Formally, the objectives of the University Women shall be to encourage a friendly and cooperative spirit within its diversified membership and to foster a continuing interest in the University.

Informally, we provide social fellowship and fun for our members, primarily through various interest groups. New members are welcome at any time. The entire group will meet several times throughout the year so plan to join the whole group for those big parties. Check out the interest groups - something for everyone - and get involved!

A Message From the President...

Greetings, Ladies!
Please come and celebrate one of the best things about living in Northwest Ohio – BGSU University Women! We will kick off a fabulous year at our  Annual Fall Brunch. The date is Saturday, August 23, at 10 o’clock. Once again we will be in the lovely main room of the Simpson Garden Park Building, 1291 Conneaut Avenue (SE corner of Wintergarden and Conneaut intersection). We can reconnect with old friends after a beautiful summer, and we can have the pleasure of meeting new friends while we enjoy the scrumptious cooking of our talented ladies. As always, returning members need to bring a brunch dish of their choice, and new members and guests just come with a hearty appetite and enjoy the selections. There will be drawings for prizes for guests, members bringing guests, and a special prize for the member who brings the MOST guests.

Because one of our functions is to provide a scholarship to a nontraditional woman student, we will honor this year’s recipient as our guest. We would like to have additional fund-raising opportunities with raffles of donated items. We have many talented and creative members in University Women, so, please consider donating something we can raffle at the brunch. Contact me concerning any item or items you might want to donate. It will be very much appreciated!
