saturday 17 september: MAD for God
united gigs contributed to this diocesan 'world church group' event aimed at older teens considering a gap year, encouraging them to consider some form of christian mission. the event concluded with a separate but linked café style evening concert by Gareth Davies-Jones (as seen at greenbelt). more info from jeremy trew or josé rhodes
saturday 10 september: the steels at HYPeR. - welcome back to the steels (previously in harrogate supporting yfriday and titus under their old name steel machine) 7:30pm start, with support local band breaking-point.
organised by three humps music in aid of and in association with united gigs; tickets were just £2 on the door or in advance from wesley owen, harrogate. or from breaking-point band members. fab night - many many thanks to HYPeR, gav (YF) and gareth for sound and jamie hudson for light.
yfriday friday 4 march: with steel machine for a rock spectacular; doors open around 7pm for 7:30pm start
tickets (£5 each) sold out from the ark, ripon. many thanks to wesley owen/branchlines, harrogate aand especially to pomp and circumstance music shop opposite wesley owen/branchlines on commercial street, harrogate for help with ticket sales during wob's refit.
postal bookings were handled by harrogate and district youth for christ, the citadel, east parade, harrogate, north yorkshire, HG1 5BL, tel 01423 507527.
both bands were looked after by dave coxon, sound and light from renta-rig
