Here are the instructions for meetings on dimdim.
We need to develop a new section of the website to support the creation, conduct, and dissolution of groups ( EoAs). I have in mind three types of groups: - practice groups
- study groups
- WUTYL groups
Strictly speaking, WUTYL groups are a special form of study groups. However, some WUTYL groups will be teacher-lead and others will be peer groups, so those differences need to be noted.
I've developed (or adapted) a set of principles and tools for such groups, under the title Probing Presence. I want to develop a library of strategies for these groups. I see these strategies falling into three areas: - how to develop a group
- how the group conducts itself
- Here are Group Guidelines for the Tuesday night group that meets in Los Angeles.
- Here are Interaction Guidelines for groups that have developed under Jason Siff's guidance.
- how the group comes to an end
Below are three documents you can download. - How to interact around practice is a general discussion, basically a transcript of teaching Ken gave on this subject to students in Los Angeles.
- Finding the Answers describes the guidelines for the LA group, which are also here on this wiki. (Just follow the links, beginning with Group Guidelines).
- Tuesdaysv2 is a pdf file with a summary of the guidelines and an older version of the prayers used to open and close group sessions.
If you want to add comments, please send an email to ken@unfetteredmind.org and you will receive a password for the wiki. |
