This site has been set up to distribute information about the recent sale of University Health Care from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine to Southern Maine Medical Center and its effects on the faculty, staff, patients, and students of UNECOM.  This site will host communications specific to this event with the intent to keep these people informed of information which would otherwise be unavailable to them.

It is the goal of this site to foster open communication concerning unethical and potentially illegal acts which may have occurred with the closure of UHC, and to encourage responsible, rational responses to these acts.
