(students to be chosen by taped audition) To insure the optimum balance for chamber ensembles and the wind ensemble, a limited number of students will be accepted into the summer program. Specially, we’ll be auditioning for the following instrumentation: 3 Flutes 3 Oboes 3 Bassoons 7 Clarinets 4 Saxophones 5 Horns 6 Trumpets 3 Trombones 1 Euphonium 2 Tubas 5 Percussion From this large group we’ll divide into: 3 woodwind quintets 1 saxophone quartet 1 clarinet quartet 2 brass quintets 1 brass quartet (2 trumpet, trombone, euphonium) 1 Percussion quintet |
