Description:
From March 1 through March 31, 2009, UNC Student Government will be partnering with UNC Hospitals to support platelet donations and raise money for the UNC Senior Public Service Award.  Each time you donate platelets, $2 will be given to the UNC Senior Public Service Award Fund.  Coming to donate with 3 of your friends earns you free food of your choosing from Franklin Street to be delivered to you!  Make sure and mention that you are donating on behalf of the Senior Public Service Award. Description: Kenan Community will be hosting its Spring Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, March 2 from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Kenan Parlor. All donors will receive free t-shirts and be placed into a raffle to receive to free Delta airline tickets. Walk-ins will be accepted, but everyone is encouraged to sign up at http://unc.givesblood.org.

March 5th marks the one year anniversary of the death of Eve Marie Carson, former Student Body President and fellow student at UNC. Eve's life is often remembered as the embodiment of the Carolina Way - to commemorate her passing, there will be a ceremony held in the Pit at 4pm on March 5th.

Description: Tri Delta invites everyone to come out to Hooker Fields on March 21 to watch different campus IFC fraternities battle it out in a softball tournament to benefit their national philanthropy, St. Jude's Research Hospital!
